Abstract

351,657. Electric brakes. ARON ELECTRICITY METER, Ltd., HILL, E. W., WHITE, A., and RIORDAN, E. J., 80, Salusbury Road, Kilburn, London. May 8, 1930, No. 14190. [Class 103 (i).] A brake magnet for an induction type motor meter comprises a permanent magnet 13 carried in a cradle 15 which is adjusted in relation to the driving disc 1 by a bolt 17 engaging the meter frame 7 against the action of a spring 19, the cradle being secured in its adjusted position by a bolt 25 and nut 27. The nut 27 has one or two flanges 29 which are slotted to embrace the bolt 17, a small washer 31 being threaded upon the bolt to prevent turning of the magnet 13 when the parts are clamped.
