Abstract

350,326. Garment hangers. VINEBERG, J. H., 305, Strathearn Avenue, Montreal, Canada. Aug. 23, 1930, No. 25253. [Class 52 (v).] A combined garment hangei and packaging device comprises a sheet having a rectangular area 1 foldably connected with a second rectangular area 2 and with top and side flaps 3, 4. The top flaps has lateral lug 9 which engage with slits 10 in the second area 2, or with the side flaps 4 when folded. A hanger 13 is secured by staples 17 to the part 1 and projects through a slit in the top flap. The projecting end is provided with a handle, weakened lines 19 being provided for converting the handle into a hook ; the handle may be folded down within the package. Flaps 5 may also be provided on the second area 2 which may be provided with a tongue for engaging a slit in the top flap.
