350,198. Pasteurizing vessels. ANDERSSEN, J., Neckarsulm, Germany. May 15, 1930, No. 15026. [Class 21.] A vessel for use in the pasteurizing of beer milk, &c. comprises an outer casing of iron &c. formed in two round-ended parts a, b, which are drawn over the ends of a thin-walled inner container f of similar shape and welded or soldered together, the inner vessel being formed along the line of the joint with a groove or channel d in which is disposed a ring of asbestos or other material capable of resisting the welding action. The neck g of the inner vessel is rolled into the bushing of the bunghole c and held by a ring h against which a disc i is adapted to be held by the usual screw closure plug.
