Abstract

386,566. Tins, kegs, &c. ROBINSON & CO., Ltd., F. and ROBINSON, G. A., Southcoates Lane, Hull. July 13, 1932, No. 19780. [Classes 21 and 66.] To afford a smooth seating for the lid, the blank for making the body of a tin, iron keg or like metal container is formed at one or both the upper corners with a rectangular stepped or recessed portion 2 so that a butt joint is afforded at the mouth when the edges 3 of the blank are brought together and overlapped or seamed to form the body. The abutting edges are welded or otherwise secured together. The containers may be of any sectional form and may have reduced neck portions.
