[Class 141.] A device adapted for securing the baseboard a of a trouser press to a wall A<1> of a suitcase or similar article and for clamping the pressing member of the trouser press against the baseboard comprises an internally and externally threaded socket member D having a fixed head d for location on the exterior of the suitcase and a nut d<1> for location on the interior of the suitcase, and a clamping member c, having a threaded stem to screw into the socket member and a head c<1> with finger pieces c<2>. The pressing member of the press comprises parts B joined by metal bars b, the ends of which are cranked upwardly and are slotted as at b<1> to receive the clamping member c. The slots are so arranged that after loosening the screws c the pressing member may be freed from the baseboard by a longitudinal sliding movement. A strap is provided to hold the ends of trousers which overlap from the press.
