Abstract
348,342. Generating high-frequency oscillations. ZEILEIS, F. G., Gallspach, Upper Austria. April 16, 1930, No. 12067. [Class 40 (v).] High frequency electromedical treatment apparatus comprises a spark gap, an oscillatory circuit and an applicator electrode, a valve being connected in the lead to the spark gap whereby the sparking rate may be regulated. The oscillatory circuit 9, 5, 11a, 6, as shown, is connected to the applicator 10 by an autotransformer 11, the earth connection over condenser 12 giving a potential distribution such that 10 is raised to a high static potential. The valve 4 is included in one lead from the H.T. transformer 1, the charging current to condensers 5, 6 being regulated by controlling the filament temperature by resistance 7.
