Apparatus for drying the hands by means of a stream of warm air is characterized by the provision of a blower, and a nozzle therefor, so chosen that the dynamic pressure of the issuing air-stream, at a point 5 cms. from the delivery orifice, amounts to 50-70 mm. of water.
