Abstract

349,693. Moistening air. AUER, H., 68, Pionierstrasse, DERCKS, J., 133, Karolingerstrasse, and RONSIECK, G., 81, Herzogstrasse, all in D³sseldorf, Germany. March 24, 1930, No. 9399. [Class 55 (ii).] In an apparatus for moistening paper, cloth sheets, &c., the liquid is blown on to the sheet by an atomizer which comprises a perforated air tube 10 and a perforated water supply tube 8 having cotton web 16 wrapped around both tubes. The supply of liquid to the tube 8 is regulated by a valve so that all is atomized, this condition being recognized by water ceasing to drop from an escape tube 20 in the outer case 6.
