[Class 42 (ii)] [Also in Group XVI] A pressure roller for use in the platewiping apparatus of an intaglio printing- machine consists of a rigid core 6<1> and an inflated envelope comprising rubber sleeves 22, 23 connected bv means of spoke - like laminae 27 of flexible material so that flattening of the outer sleeve takes place at the pressure point without the coaxial relation of the sleeves being otherwise disturbed.
