Abstract

280,817. Ames, R. June 15, 1927. Nozzles for producing whirling sprays.-The nozzle consists of a cylinder made in two portions 2, 8, the inlet portion 2 having a bridge-piece 4 to which is secured a plug 6, the outlet portion 8 having a domed end. The plug has a helical groove 11 and is spaced from the orifice 10.
