Abstract

252,107. Lilty, J. Jan. 11, 1926. Nozzles with cut-off devices; nozzles for producing whirling sprays. - A spray nozzle for use with syringes, hose &c. has two parallel holes, one of which J is provided with a swirl plug D while the other is screw threaded to receive a screw F, the inner ends of the plug and screw being connected by a link f so that the position of the plug D is adjusted by the screw F. The arrangement is such that either a jet or a coarse or fine spray may be ejected through the hole L or the hole closed completely.
