[Class 137] [Also in Group XII] A humidifier for use in aircraft or other closed space comprises a tubular casing a with a single spray nozzle b and a conical perforated diffuser baffle d facilitating an intimate air-water mixture which is projected on a tubular screen c composed of several layers of wire mesh and thence through a filter pad f for removing all droplets. For controlling the humidification, part of the air current may by-pass the casing by means of a valve operated manually or by a humidostat. Or the jet may operate intermittently or with varying pressure or orifices. A heater and cooler may be included and deodorant or disinfectant employed.
