Abstract

187,358. Durr, E. Aug. 4, 1921. Hair and head, drying-appliances for. - A cap adapted to be attached to the nozzle of ordinary hot-air hair drying apparatus tc facilitate the drying of waved hair comprises a flared tube 1, Fig. 2 provided with an inter. nally flanged ring 2 with set screws 2a by means of which it may be attached to nozzles of various sizes, and two fine-mesh gauze, or like screens 3, 4, which diffuse the current of warm air and so prevent disturbance of the waved hair. In the construction shown in Fig. 5, one gauze screen 4 is provided, which mav be a single thickness of gauze or two or more thicknesses united at the edges. Finely perforated metal screens, with or without additional screens of gauze, may be used.
