Abstract
344,249. Fastenings for sliding doors. HENDERSON, Ltd., P. C., Tangent Works, Barking, Essex, and ORMESHER, E., 1, Beaufort Road, Sale, near Manchester. March 24, 1930, No. 9331. [Class 44.] Securing means for sliding doors comprise a bent drop bolt a, rectangular in cross section, guides b which are carried by a plate c arranged to lie flush with the surface of the bottom door rail d, and a member e with hook-like projections el which engage the swivelling bolt head a<11>. The side surfaces of the projections e<1> form bearing surfaces for the bolt and a stop f limits the movement of the bolt. The bolt socket h is open-ended and has a retaining member h<1>. The door is guided by a roller i and channel k.
