343,964. Heating buildings. COPELAND, C. W. and HAYWARD-LATONA ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., F. H., 23, Latona Road, Peckham, London. Nov. 26, 1929, No. 36223. [Classes 64 (i) and 64 (ii).] In hot-water circulating systems for heating buildings in which a portion 4 of the water circulating conduit is disposed in a chamber 1 and heated by a gas burner 2 or other means, a completely closed pipe system 3 is directly connected to the adjacent heated portion 4 to form a unitary structure thus dispensing with an expansion tank or other accessories. The heated part of the conduit may consist of an annular water chamber through which the hot gases pass instead of the helix shown. If inflammable gases are present in the atmosphere near the apparatus, the chamber 1 may be enclosed in an outer chamber provided with an air inlet pipe from the exterior of the building.
