Abstract

Motor spirit consists of a mixture of alcohol, benzol, tetrahydronaphthalene, water, sulphitecellulose liquor, and sulphonated whale oil. The sulphite liquor and the oil prevent rusting of the engine parts, and the oil acts as a lubricant. Specification 331,966, [Class 91, Oils &c.], is referred to.
