[Class 65 (ii).] Securing flaps in a given relative position.-A jointed-folding stay composed of pivoted members 17, 18 is pivoted to lugs on the leaves 11, 12 of the hinge, and is arranged so that the stay members bear on the surfaces of the hinge leaves when the hinge is fully open, as shown, to prevent further opening; the stay members are shaped to fit round the main pivot 14 of the hinge. In modifications, only parts of the stay members, or fixed or adjustable stops on the stay members, bear on the leaves, or only one of the stay members bears on one of the leaves.
