Condensers.-To add to the inductive effect of a wound-type condenser, one foil, starting at A<1>, may be wound, with its insulation, alone for a few turns before the other, starting at A<2>, is wound in, the foils terminating respectively at E<1> and E<2>, the second foil having similarly extra turns alone at the finish. of the winding. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the utilization of the inductance in an ordinary wound-type condenser, each armature being provided with suitable connections to form any combinations of the inductive and the capacitative effects of the coiled foils. Thus one foil mav have a connection at the beginning and the other foil at the end. In this case the inductances are in series with the capacity separating them. Each foil may have provision for electrical connection at each end so as to form two inductances coupled by the capacitative effect. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
