Abstract
338,870. Harper, W. Aug. 24, 1929. Lubricating hulls.-Metal strips 10, crimped on their rearward edges, are secured transversely across the bottom of a boat. Holes 8, connected by a groove 9, are formed in the bottom adjacent to these strips. Air received from pipes 5, through the manifold 6, passes out through the crimpings 11 and is spread over the bottom. The strips are inclined to the centre line where the hull varies in width to spread the air evenly.
