Computing-apparatus.-In a weight and value indicator for weighing-apparatus, particularly for postal purposes, the value, chart 6 is formed separately from the weights chart 4 and is secured in a chart housing 5 so as to leave a gap 7 within which the extremity 9 of the weight indicator 8 may move. By this arrangement errors due to parallax or shadow are avoided, and substitution of charts necessitated for example, by changes of postal rates or regulations are facilitated. The indicator 8 carries the names of various countries and the value chart 6 bears concentric rows of monetary values corresponding to the postal rates.
