Abstract

293,156. Aegerter, A. S. May 10, 1927. Clinometers.-In a clinometer of the kind comprising a pivoted loaded indicator 1 provided on its face and on its periphery with scales visible through apertures in the front and top respectively of the casing, the indicator is connected through multiplying gearing to a subsidiary indicator which in the form shown comprises a pointer 12 moving over a fixed scale 13. Around the scale 13 there may be provided a ring 15 on which is mounted a manually adjustable pointer 16 which can be set to any desired indication of the pointer 12.
