Control mechanism.-In revoluble handle-bar controls for motor cycles, the end of the handle-bar a<2> has fixed to it a sleeve c formed with a longitudinal straight groove c<2> in which work two independent slides g, i connected to Bowden cables x, y, the, slides being actuated by two independent rotary tubular members h, j arranged end to end over the sleeve and formed with helical slots to engage the respective slides. The groove c<2> extends from end to end of the sleeve c, and is formed by outwardlybent flanges on the sleeve, which is slit diametrically at the ends so that it can be secured to the handlebar a<2> by clamping-rings d, e. The rotary members h, j are separated by a ring f carrying a block f<2>, which fits into the groove c<2>, and serves as a guide for the wire x, and at each end as a bearing for the rotary members. The rotary member h is provided with a vulcanite &c. hand-grip, and the rotary member j with a knurled actuating- collar j<3>, a non-rotary sheath m surrounding the member j.
