Abstract

338,062. Dreger, O. Jan, 13, 1930. Roofing, sheet-metal. - A sheet-metal roofing strip 1 is crimped longitudinally a short distance from one side edge to form a rib 2, which leans towards, and overhangs, the middle of the strip. The other side edge is bent longitudinally to form an upstanding anchoring portion 9 which corresponds in section to, and is adapted to overlap, the ribs 2 of an adjoining strip. The flat flange 5 outside the rib 2 receives the attaching nails 6, which are covered by the portion 9 of the adjoining strip. The part of the strip between the rib 2 and portion 9 may be left flat, or formed with V-section ribs, as at 10.
