Abstract

Baking-tins. - Baking-tins of the kind comprising an expansible wall formed with a groove for housing a loose bottom have the beading a<1> of the walls not completely closed but of channel form so that the plain edge a<2> of the overlapping end engages slidingly within the channelled portion. One or both beaded edges are preferably provided with spring wires tending to keep the band expanded. The rim of the loose bottom is of conical form widening upwardly and fits under the groove b, resting on the inside of the lower beaded part. The manipulating lever d consists of a metal stamping having a stamped-out tongue d' to carry the link e.
