Vacuum tubes. - A quantity of finely-divided tungsten is inserted into the bulbs of arc lamps or other electrical devices comprising elements heated to high temperatures in sealed evacuated or gas-filled bulbs or containers, prior to the sealing thereof, for the purpose of enabling deposits to be rubbed off their inner surfaces. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) mentions the use of finely-divided tantalum, molybdenum, fused aluminium oxide, and silicon carbide. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
