The rod d has a member f adjustably secured to its lower end between nuts e, the, member being forked to engage the sides of a shaft g carrying a toothed wheel which engages a pawl i carried by the member f and adjustable by a screw l. The slope of the slide 87 and the amplitude of its vibrations can be regulated by adjustment of the rod d in the slot b, and of the nuts e and pawl i.
