Abstract

351,123. Coating confectionery. WINKLER, A., 30, Seminarstrasse, and DUNNEBIER, M., 46, Engerser Landstraase, both in Neuwied, Germany. April 3, 1930, No. 10631. [Class 28 (i).] Relates to a machine for making chocolate cream bars and which can be readily converted to a machine for making solid or filled moulded chocolates, or for covering biscuits &c. with chocolate. As shown in Fig. 1, the mechanism 23, 24 is for feeding moulds 22 to the conveyer grid G of the coating machine, and when used for coating biscuits &c., this mechanism is replaced by a conveyer band. The chocolate supplier 3 receives chocolate from the reservoir 1 through a helical conveyer 2, and, after coating, the biscuits are conveyed through a cooler. The cooler contains two conveyers travelling side by side, one for conveying covered biscuits &c., and the other for conveying moulds.
