Flat endless-belt conveyers.-Packages of fish &c., which may be of varying thickness, are conveyed through the refrigerator 9 between superposed endless-belts, preferably of nichrome steel, the freely-sagging lower run of the upper belt being pressed upon the packages by verticallymovable weighted frames 12 having rollers 13. The tension in the upper belt is regulated automatically through a rack and pinion 22, 23 by a spring-urged link 25. The upper run of the lower belt is supported upon rollers 10.
