Abstract

335,433. Vasticar, H. Nov. 22, 1928, [Convention date]. Cases, watch.-A case for a watch in which the cover is hingedly connected to the base of the case, has an extension or flap closing a recess in the top of the case in which the watch is held. A cover b hinged at c to the case a has an extension b' which, when the cover is closed, covers the recess a<1> containing the watch d, and the case is opened by pressing on the cover near the edge. The watch is held in the box by pins, one of which, near the winding stem, engages in a hole in the spring i and two others f, under hooks e formed on the sides of the recess a<1>. The cover is retained either open or closed by a leaf spring m which acts on a finger n; and if, when the cover is in the opened position, the projection on the watch is disengaged from the spring i, the springs h will act on the watch and rotate it about the pins f to an inclined position so that it serves as a traveller's clock. The Specification as open to inspection under Sec. 91 (3 (a) comprises also a case in which only a watch mechanism is inserted; the outer casing acting as the watch case. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
