Abstract

428,702. Cosmetic containers. BOURJOIS, Ltd., Queen's Way, Croydon.-(Wertheimer FrÞres; 43, Avenue Marceau, Paris) Nov. 17, 1933, No. 32108. [Class 18] A case for lipstick &c., consists of a casing a open at one end to receive a container g having slidably mounted therein a lipstick carrier k actuated by a stem j, which slides in a slot i, and has an enlargement m which holds in its closed position a mirror c spring- hinged to a longitudinal edge of the casing. On pulling out the container, the mirror is released, and flies open. The face of the casing covered by the mirror may also be mirrored. The lower end of the container is enlarged at h to conform to the size of the casing, and the slot i is extended slightly into this enlargement. The parts may be suitably enamelled or otherwise coloured, or plated.
