334,059. Jõger, L. Aug. 22, 1929. Locking nuts. - A washer a has an inclined bore b containing a pin c of sufficient length to project slightly beyond each face of the washer. When the nut is turned in the direction of unscrewing, the pin, which is of slightly Less diameter than the bore, engages both the top of the work and the underface of the nut, and tends to rise into a more nearly vertical position. In a modification the pin is incorporated in the nut, the bore in this case not passing completely through the nut.
