[Class 89 (i)] In a locknut of tht kind in which a pivoted lever B is pressed by a spring E into a groove in the bolt and is raisec from the groove on the application of a span ner the lever is in a plane parallel to the axis of the bolt and has a straight edge F pro jecting from the surface of the nut adapted when engaged by the spanner to be flush with the side of the nut.
