Indiarubber compositions.-A rubber composition is made from rubber, animal fibres and fillers by vulcanizing the mix at a temperature lower than that which would carbonize the fibres. The addition of sulphur or an accelerator may be made if desired. A suitable mix is rubber 16 per cent, animal fibre e.g. wool, flocks, mungo, etc. 60 per cent, accelerator ¢ per cent, sulphur ¢ per cent, zinc oxide 7 per cent, and whiting 16 per cent. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13128/14, 13779/14, 105,026, 306,129 and 327,447.
