263,028. Campbell, J. May 29, 1926. Plastic compositions containing indiarubber and bitumen.-A composition suitable for spraying roads, for protecting iron, wood &c. and as a roofing material is prepared by boiling together until thoroughly mixed 70 parts of rubber and 30 parts of bitumen. The properties of the composition may be varied by incorporating therewith small proportions of pitch, resin, sulphur, rubber solvent or solution, plaster of Paris, and fibrous material.
