Abstract
332,040. Bulgin, A. F. June 26, 1929. Holders. - An electric lamp, especially such as is used for indicating whether all electric circuit is open or closed, is mounted in a collar sliding in a socket against the action of a spring so that the lamp may be accommodated almost entirely in the socket. The socket 1 is secured in an opening in a panel 4 by means of screw collars 5, 5<a> and contains a sliding collar 14. The cap 13a of the lamp screws into the collar 14 and its central contact 15 presses against a spring 8 abutting on an insulating disc 7 closing the end of the socket 1 and carrying a terminal 10. The lamp is held in place against the spring 8 by a glass 16 and screwed collar 6. Instead of the screwed collar 14 a collar adapted to receive the pins of a lamp of the bayonet cap type may be employed.
