Abstract
328,097. Henkel et Cie, Ges. Feb. 27, 1929, [Convention date]. Cleansing-compositions of the kind referred to in Specification 332,530 are obtained in powder form readily soluble in water by atomizing aqueous solutions of alkaline alkali phosphates and water-soluble silicates while powdered calcined soda is added at the atomizing zone. Caustic alkali may also be present. For example, 130 kg. of 50 per cent caustic soda, 153 kg. of 38-40‹ BÚ water-glass, and 622 kg. of disodiumphosphate (Na2 HPO4 12H2 O) are atomized at 100-105‹ C. while 136 kg. of calcined soda are blown or sucked in.
