Abstract

328,086. Weaver, A. N., and Legge, H. March 11, 1929. Foot-arch supports.-A foot-arch supporting pad A of rubber, cork, felt, or the like, having a peripheral flange, is applied to the, underside of the inner sole B of a shoe and protrudes through a correspondingly shaped aperture therein. A strip of leather, secured by adhesive to the underside of inner sole, retains the pad in position. Wings C, D of stiffened leather, shaped to the waist of the foot, are provided as extensions of the inner sole on each side thereof.
