Abstract

242,028. Brooks, G. G. May 15, 1925. Foot - arch supports.-A foot-arch support consists of two pieces of leather sewn together to form a pocket which receives a pad of the shape shown in Fig. 3. The edges x, y of the pad are parabolic in shape, transverse and longitudinal sections of the pad being shown in Figs. 2 and 4. The pad may be made of spongy rubber, textile material &c., and the support may be secured to the sole of a boot or shoe by spikes, rivets or adhesive.
