Abstract

Overhead lamps.-The exterior of an opaque reflector of an indirect lighting fitment is illuminated by means of an independent reflector which receives light from within the fitment. A lamp c supported in a holder d extends upwardly through an opening e in a main reflector a which may be of the type described in Specification 329,619. Arranged below the reflector a is an independent reflector g supported in an ornamental casing i, a space being formed between the said casing and the lamp holder d through which the exterior of the casing d<1> of the holder is illuminated. In a modification the invention is applied to a bracket fitment of the type described in Specification 279,930, the ornamental casing comprising a series of superposed sections m, n, o illuminated by independent reflectors t from an independent source of light within the casing.
