Mangles and wringers. -A mangle or wringer a is pivoted at c to the upper members g, g<1>, of a stationary supporting framework b and, when the mangle is folded, the top bar i thereof rests upon these members and supports the mangle horizontally. Sufficient space is left beneath the folded mangle to accommodate a wash-tub &c. The mangle is supported in its operative position by the engagement in a recess in the member g of a screw e carried by a U-shaped bracket d' depending from the strut d which is formed on the folding mangle frame. A table cover m is supported in a vertical position when the mangle is in its operative position by a strut n pivoted at n' to the stationary framework b; when the mangle is folded the table cover is swung over the mangle and framework. Instead of being pivoted directly to the framework b, the mangle may be clipped to a member pivoted thereto.
