Abstract

355,121. Trestles. RICHFIELD, R. E., RICHFIELD, E. J., and HOWARD, H. J., 19, Bush Road, Rotherhithe, London. Nov. 4, 1930, No. 33113. [Class 52 (v).] A stand for supporting a wringer comprises a horizontal bar 1, to which the wringer is clamped, and vertical legs 2, 3. Struts 6, 7 are centrally pivoted to the lower ends of the legs 2 and legs 9, 10 are pivoted at their upper ends 12 to metal strips 11 which are secured to the legs 2, 3. The legs 9, 10 are provided with slots 13, 14 in which engage bolts &c. 15 carried by the struts 6, 7 so that the stand may be folded and opened, the struts 6, 7 moving see-saw fashion. A shelf 8 on which a clothes basket may be placed and having a concave edge to accommodate a wash-tub may be supported on the struts 6, 7.
