Folding tables; tables combined with wringers and other articles.-A collapsable table has a top which is movable or removable to afford access to a carrier bar or like device designed to support a wringer or other domestic machine. Fig. 1 shows an X-frame table comprising legs 10, 11 pivoted together at 12, side bars 13 hinged at 14 and supporting a table-top 25, and a removable platform 28 resting on braces 27 and, by means of its cross-strips 29, locking the X-legs in their open position. Pivoted to the side bars 13 is a carrier 18, 19 for a wringer 17. or other appliance, e.g., a cream separator or a mincer; the side bars 18 have undercut ends 21 which engage with similarly-cut ends 23 of bars 22 pivoted at 14 to the legs 11, and supporting a part 25 of the table top. Before folding up the table, it is necessary to remove the wringer. In a modification, the carrier-bar 18 is pivoted at one end to the middle of one of the bars 13, and supported at the other end by a pivoted stirrup on the other bar 13; this end may be removed from the stirrup and the bar dropped. In other modifications, the top consists of two end sections 45, 46, and a removable centre section 49, Fig. 7. and is supported on knuckle-jointed side bars 36, 37 connecting the top ends of the X- frame legs 10, 11. Each member 37 has a U- shaped bracket 41 carrying a removable carrierbar 46 for the wringer &c. 17. Braces 50 connect the legs 10 and the cross-bars 49 connecting their top ends; or alternatively the bar 49 is connected by hooks to a cross-bar connecting the bars 36.
