Abstract

324,768. Bliss, J. Dec. 14, 1928. Piston valves. -In a tap for oil drums &c. of the kind comprising a hollow tubular body 10 with end inlet 12 and side outlet 16 and a spring-loaded piston valve 15, the piston is provided with a. pin 23 moving in a slot 20 in the body, the slot being offset at each end, as shown, to retain the piston positively in its open and closed positions. The pin 23 engages in an opening in an outer sleeve 11 which serves as the operating-means. Specification 283,697 is referred to.
