Writing and stationery cases.-The flanged lid or cover 7 of a stationery or other case or folder is provided with an open pocket or recess 13, Fig. 1, by the insertion therein of a blank 10 having flanges 10<a> which form the sides of the pocket, and a flap 11 which is secured flush with the edges of the lid flanges to form the front of the pocket. The blank may be arranged to form a pocket smaller than the lid, a hollow rectangular frame 12, Fig. 2<a>, being then inserted between the lid flanges and the pocket flanges, or the side flanges of the lid may be provided with extensions which are folded to provide the spacing members at the sides of the pocket.
