Abstract

324,176. Fitzpatrick, H. D., (Maatschappij tot Vervaardiging van Snijmachines Volgens van Berkel's Patent en van Andere Werktuigen). Dec. 5, 1928. Scale-pans and the like.-A support 1 for the scale-plate 11 of a weighing-machine includes an upwardly-projecting flexing spring 16 having an upper part or parts for resiliently engaging the scale-plate and a lower part or parts attached to the support. Adjustably attached to the support 1 are three outwardly extending arms 2, 3, 4 the outer ends 9 of which engage and hold the bevelled edges 10 of the scale-plate. A fourth arm 12, also adjustably attached to the support, carries the spring 16 that bears downwardly on the edge 19 of the scale-plate by means of lugs 18. In a modification, the spring 16 is integral with the arm 12.
