Plug couplings. - A multiple-pin plug member B<0> is connected in different ways to an electric supply by means of a corresponding socket member K that can be rotated to bring the sockets K<1> - - K<3> into different positions relative to the base H on which a guide H', H<2> is provided to receive a lug L<1> on the plug member B<0> which can thus be engaged in one position only. The sockets K' - - K<3> are connected by flexible leads M<1>, M<2>, Fig. 1, to pins G<1>, G<2> that engage the wall socket, stops N, N<1>, Fig. 6, being provided to limit the angle of rotation of the member K and a screw J<3> to ensure correct position by engaging with depressions 0, O<1>. Earthing connections P, P' are provided on the casings of the members B<0>, H. connection between the casings being effected by a resilient contact P<2>. The member B<0> may be associated with a heater having three coils A - - A<2> connected as shown in Fig. 1, so that engagement of the plug member B<0> with the socket member K in different positions brings one, two, or three coils into operation.
