Abstract
322,675. Wade, H., (Naamlooze Vennootschap. Bouwonderneming Ketabang IV.). Jan. 15, 1929. Spindle apparatus.-A suction casing 4, which surrounds each box of apparatus for spinning artificial silk in such manner that the only entry for air is through the filament-guide aperture 5,. is supported on or is integral with the casing 1 of the electric motor or other driving-means, and is conically enlarged towards its lower end where it merges into a helical conduit 10 and discharge orifice 11, whereby the rotation of the box creates a pressure towards the suction pipe and a higher concentration of gases or vapours is secured, so that the purifying may be effected in a more convenient manner, and a relatively small suction power is required.
