Toothed gearing.-In toothed reducing or multiplying gearing, for use with engines, of the kind in which a pinion c engages an annular wheel d<4>, the pinion is mounted on roller or other bearings c<1> on a cylindrical sleeve a<5> secured to the engine casing wall a<3> and engages by serration c<2> an intermediate shaft b<3> connected by serrations to a plate b<4> externally serrated to engage a drum b<2> on the crank shaft b. The internal wheel d<4> is secured to the flered end of the shaft d and is supported by a roller bearing d<6> on a cylindrical sleeve a<4> integral with the sleeve a<5>. Axial movement of the pinion c is limited by nuts c<3>, c<4> secured in its ends.
