Abstract

321,243. Morioka, I. Aug. 13, 1928. Enlarging, copying, and reducing.-Images having an incorrect ratio between their lateral and longitudinal dimensions, and obtained in series on a sheet in the photographic reproduction of an object in three dimensions as described in Specification 298,377, [Class 98 (ii), Photographic processes &c.], axe reproduced with a correct ratio between their dimensions by passing the sheet in front of an illuminated slit, and projecting on to a film arranged at an inclination to the sheet and travelling at a speed which varies inversely as the cosine of the angle of inclination. As shown, the sheet 1 passes before a slit 2 in a direction v, and is projected by a lens 3 on to a film 4 travelling over a slit 5 in a direction v<1>.
