Abstract
320,235. Brandes, Ltd., and Miller, T. D. Ward-. Oct. 12, 1928. Condensers. - A tubular metal spool 1, having a domed contact 2, has a coating 9 of mica or other dielectric and a coil of wire 10 applied thereover to constitute a condenser. Within the spool 1 is a tubular grid leak resistance 4 mounted at one end in a spring washer 3 and at the other end in the tubular shank of a further domed metal contact 6, the latter being mounted in an insulating plate 5 secured by turned over lugs 8 on the end of the spool 1. A band 13 and strips of solder hold in place the dielectric 9 and the coil 10, respectively, and the end of the latter is soldered at 11 to the terminal 6, or left free, according to the connection required.
